Saturday’s Lineup
This time our headliner will be the Newgrass sounds of Reedy River String Band. Their sound is packed with sparkling three-part harmonies, along with tight, dazzling acoustic playing, top-speed raveups (“Run Rabbit Run,” “Gypsy Queen”), hard-luck mid-tempo tunes that mix old-school bluegrass with sly humor (“Go on Get”) and unexpectedly, a great cover of the Pink Floyd classic “Comfortably Numb.”
Also taking the Music on Main stage will be Matt Phillips & What's Good. They’ll serve up a soulful blend of blues, funk, and folk-rock they describe as "twangy funk, future blues, Americana".
Music on Main always to bring in artists you won’t find anywhere else. So plan to come out early and enjoy all the variety and high quality of musical entertainment that Westminster has to offer!
WMC Is Expanding!
Be sure to stop by 216 East Main to see the Westminster Music Centre’s vibrant new performance space - a creative hub designed for musicians, performers, learners, and the entire Westminster community!
Whether you’re picking up an instrument for the first time or sharing the stage with friends, our doors are open for you to make music, make memories, and share the music inside you.
